NO you are absolutely wrong. The carbed engines used a bmap or Barometric pressure sensor, a MAP sensor is a Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor. (Fuel injected)

The vacuum routing diagram that autozone provided is accurate.

There's electronic feedback carburetors that use MAP sensors. Don't start throwing another tantrum because you're wrong. Just because you work at Ford doesn't mean you know everything.

If half wrong is accurate then I guess it is.
