Truck wont start
I have a 1986 f150 that just had the starter replaced 3 days ago. Now the truck won't start... Trucks interior lights go on, i turn the key and i lose power. The lights stay out until i wiggle the positive and negative battery cables connecting from battery to starter and solenoid. New battery, new solenoid new starter, new negative battery cable.
Please somebody help me I'm going to lose my job if i dont have reliable transportation. My cell phone # is 215 881 5416 my name is matt and I'm open to any opinions. Thank you

I have experienced this scenario a number of times myself where you hit the starter switch and lose all power. Furthermore I have read about it several times on forums like this.
The bottom line is you have a dirty or loose connection somewhere or possibly a bad battery cable that is shorting internally, I realize most of your cables are new. New doesn't mean they are that shiny clean, clean on the inside where they connect to the battery posts and also the outside of the new battery posts can use shined up. Make sure they tighten up properly.
Also check where the other side of the ground cable hooks to, to make sure it is shiny clean and tight.
If you are diligent about this I am confident you will fix your problem.
