Default Smog pump by-pass

I was reading on here about by-passing my smog pump and removing it completely. One member said you can replace the pump with a pulley and use the same belt I already have. I was just curious where I might be able to find that pulley. Thank you

The smog pump actually uses very little energy to operate. Unless you have a stuck pump there isnt really any advantage of by-passing it

Smog pump isn't really an accurate description. It's just a low pressure air pump that pumps fresh air into the exhaust system. Like jayber said there is really no advantage to eliminating it.
Throwing money away, basically.

Default How is eliminating it throwing money away?

I disconnected the hoses today and and honestly it runs better than it has in a while. It didn't cost me anything to do that. It wld cost me 180$ plus to get it to run right.
