An exsaust change is a great idea cause everything is on that one side back pressure is needed but it has way to much as I've discovered, and a 300 loves fresh air will never get enough the more air u give it the better all around it will be!

if your wanting little more horsepower I would suggest a class 1 rebuilt motor from jasper I just put one in my 94 f150 run and you also get the jasper 3year 100,000 warranty and you don't have to spend all the time and effort into rebuilding a motor with 300,000 mile on it
