sorry i havent been very active but has been very hectic. anyways it turns out if you are such a smart individual as myself and go to autozone for a harmonic balancer you will get one with out a pulse ring which will cause your p0385 code. live and learn.i have part coming from dealership. since then i have had several issues. my truck had completely lost power no lights or anything full battery starter went bad then a fusible link. then i got power but car would not start no ignition power so i went through the harness from fuse box to sensors and wires behind radiator checked the diode. what does this diode control wires are grey right before junction box right side of fuse box in hood and and inline fuses were all good replaced some vacuums that were questionable put in new relays and new fuses replaced no. 1 fuse which had burned the plastic in the interior fuse box used an inline fuse and cut it out of the back and spliced also replaced clutch position sensor spark plugs rotor cap oil changed tranny fluid flushed brakes thermostat ect sensor . put new starter relay in also was the wrong part switched relay back to original and my truck would run again it now is throwing p1409 egr solenoid which is brand new so is valve and dpfe and hoses are good. also my crossmember broke for transmission used some steel plates to fix it temporarily.i noticed my transmission mount is on an angle is this right it doesnt seem like it but the mount is solid so I'm a little confused. i also noticed the thin metal plate inbetween transmission and my motor not sure of name appears to be upside down theres only 4 screws and a lot of empty holes in metal and it is covering screw holes in transmission with no screws is it suppose to be like this it doesn't seem right it hangs down half inch on bottom and half inch shy on top same for left to right. it was done by a shop that is on the up and up when they did clutch which my clutch is leaking fluid somewhere its always low has a weird orangeish tint to it is it rust. and my engine oil is leaking from rear main seal. and the transmission mount was loose. some people these days. i also have question on the ground locations coming off battery mine goes the chasis then starter but ive read its suppose to ground on motor also where would this be. could this cause electric problems if not grounded right and it has to find a new path to ground.my truck has also lost ac just blows air and my truck wont go over 70 unless you floor it for a good minute or more. so i drive slower now.my differential has a hose coming off going to nowhere is this a vent or what the hell is it. what do you use to lubricate u joints. i have lots of questions little scatterbrained right now ive been living under my truck all night and working all day. any info would be greatly appreciated. i also have alldata for my truck only i will post login info later for anyone interested cant remeber login and password. thank you guys for any and all help.
