Default fried fuse link, no power, truck wont start

I tried to jump the truck how I always do, not grounding the negative like a noob . I fried the fuse link. I had it replaced with an inline 40 amp fuse thing. The truck has a good fully charged battery and I scraped the connections. After installing the battery nothing electrical would work. No lights, no solenoid click, no dash lights. Something else must be fried. Im an idiot i know . Anyone have any suggestions of what to test/replace next?

Start checking fuses, relays, etc. if you are getting no power at all to the truck, I would trace the positive cable to the first box it goes to, and start checking there. Is like plumbing...turn on the water at the main, you should get it everywhere. If not, maybe a valve (fuse, relay, etc) isnt good. MY 0.02
