Add more horsepower to 4.9 il6
So my trucks got the inline 6 which as we all know had lots of torque, but I'd like to get more horsepower out of her. Just about everything on the engine is stock. Anyone know of mods you can do?

This is all very interesting but I don't think any of these performance mods apply to us fuel injected owners. I have a 96 fuel injected model and would like to add more hp.

It's a tractor motor, love it for what it is. You can probably buy another truck with a 5.8L or bigger for what it'll cost to make you happy with your 4.9L performance. LOL, 4.9L and high performance is an oxymoron!
