bone white residue on spark plugs
Hello from a newbie to this forum,
I have a 1996 f150xl with the inline 6 engine. Last week i changed the distributor, rotor and spark plugs. As indicated above, the old plugs came out dry and bone white. Having changed plugs on other vehicles before, this got my attention. I've been reading about this and have seen everything from normal to running lean. The plugs i pulled out were ford spec. with about 15k miles and showed normal degradation.
Any thoughts?

I assume U have the normal high mileage on your F150 and use a trifle of oil so the plugs look ok. If you use a lot of oil the plugs will look much worse.
