95 4.9 running rough

95 4.9 running rough
I've got a 95 f150 with the 4.9. 5 speed. a little over 140k on it. It runs rough as all get out now. I've changed plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor button, new throttle body gasket ( the old one was all kind of messed up and shrivled) its like it has no power. And sputters, I have noticed a little black smoke from the tail pipe when I rev it a little. rough idle as well. I'm guessing because of the black smoke..that means its running rich?? What could be the issue? I've ran out of ideas.
