I have an 89 150 5spd 2wd 4.9, it started randomly with a little jerk every once in a while, like you cut spark to it for just a split second. The. It started actin like it was only hittin on 2cly, now if I can get it to start i have to play with the throttle so when it does start it goes to 2grand then drops and dies, i can't get it to go over 3grand. The exhaust was barely held on from car back so I took it off and noticed the cat was busted up so I took it off to and put a flow master on it. I've replaced plugs, wires, cap, button, front tank pump, high pressure pump, fuel pressure regulator, MAP sensor, TPS, IACV, ICM, I feel like I'm leavin somethin out, but nuthin has helped.maybe EGR? I bought a coil today but didn't get the chance to put it on. Any suggestions would be great thanks.
