Default 300 i6 4.9 has misfire cyl #6 but has spark!

cylinder number 6 has a mis but it has fire to the plug. It has had a tick/knock towards the back of the engine. any ideas?

Check the compression and see if the cylender is getting fuel and air

How do i check if it's getting fuel/air?

Swap the injector from this bad cylender to a good one and the good to a bad, if the misfire moves then you have a bad injector.

Did you check compression? Sorry I'm more knowable on the 4.6 and 5.4. Could the spark just be week? Try changing the problem cyclenders plug with a good cyclenders plug and see if the misfire moves.

ive done changed plugs. What i did was, I unplugged one wire at a time to each cylinder. when i pulled the 6th wire from cylinder 6,,,it didnt change, just kept missing. but the other cylinder would miss when i unplugged wires

Gotcha I'm not sure what else there is to test other than compression and to see if #6 is getting fuel and air. Does your exhaust smell any differnt?
