I checked the coil wire, and the distributor with a test light to see if I'm gettin fire and I'm not, truck won't start and I've tracked the problem back to the fact that I'm not getting any spark. Engine cranks like a champ, but won't turn over.

I checked the wiring diagram in my book, and everything goes back to the EEC module, I'm guessing if that's bad, power won't be distributed throughout the truck?

I don't know if the EEC module is the same as the ICM (Ignition Control Module) but a friend of mine '87 couldn't get his to fire and had to replace the ICM a second time to get it to start. Just because it's new doesn't mean it works. I learned that from this site.
