I have a 4.9l in my 1996 4x4 f150. It's making a humming noise almost like my 1998 for ranger did when the mass air flow sensor went out. At idle it will hum rather loudly but sounds fine outside of idle. It runs great with no codes. Anyone have this issue?

Hi Ken.
My 95 F150 4.9l has a power steering pump that is noisy.

I took off the serpentine belt and it still made the noise.
