Default 1989 F-150 straight 6 dies at 15 miles

I've replaced all 3 fuel pumps,fuel filter,fuel regulator,coil,ignition module,plugs,wires.It dies after 15 miles then starts like nothing happened in five minutes.Please Help.

Sounds like coil getting hot and quiting

Look at the distributor. If its a TFI, then it could be the pip sensor. Mine cut off at random times and I changed the whole distributor and have not had a problem since. That's about 10,000 miles ago. Someone advised me that the Duraspark system is simpler and better. You may want to do that. There would be wire changes with that swap. Good luck.
