Default Wiring for courtesy lights

On a '13 F-150 XLT, does anybody know from experience which wire in the door channel is the one that powers the cargo light/entry lights? The light strips I'm looking at buying don't come with specific instructions. Thanks.

Follow this link https://www.f150forum.com/f38/led-do...amples-193953/ it might help. I used it to install puddle lights under my running boards and the wires were correct for my '11

Did you get your lights working, any help would be great. I'm looking to do the same. Will check the link out but thought if you had success you could share some thoughts!

I took a volt meter to my engine bay fuse panel... found one that provided power when the truck was in AC mode and used a fuse tap to get me power (for my raptor style grill lights)...

I never got around to it yet. Been reading that the LEDs can go out and look bad. And life has just been busy lately.

Be careful adding a bunch of lights to this connection , Mine no longer work and there isn't a blown fuse anyplace .... try using the grey and purple wire on driver side , it runs the cargo lamp .... Lights come on when you unlock or open the door , just not the inside cab lights .... Although Ive wired an LED strip for inside that works for now
