Default Wiring in ambers and other auxiliary lights

I am trying to install switched amber flashers on my roof for plowing (and other auxiliary lights in the future), what is the BEST way to wire them into the system? Straight off the battery with an appropriate sized fuse? or using a jumper from perhaps a cigar lighter fuse? Or any other ideas welcome. I am trying to do this right way without skimping out.

power from the battery through a relay triggered by your marker lights.

I bought a light that has a cigaret plug in like the one for the phone charger and there is a magnet at the base of the light. Just stick it in top of the truck when i needed

Best way is to find a wire that is hot when ignition is on so you can not drain your battery if they are left on... my 2013 manual warned me not to hook to the negative side of the battery... High draw lights will need a fuse and relay to protect the switch
