Default Why won't my fog lights turn on?

I've had HIDs in my fog lights for the past year now and both of them recently stopped working. I just replaced the bulbs two weeks ago so I figured it must be the ballasts. I hooked the new ballasts up and still nothing but I noticed today that the fog lamp indicator light isn't lighting up when I pull the headlamp control **** out.

Have you checked the fuse? Sounds like that could be the issue since the light doesn't come up on the dash either.

Fuse #47 - 15A

I'm having the exact same issue with my truck and HIDs in my fogs. I've tried bigger fuses but it just blows the fuse as soon as I try to turn them on.

Does the issue persist if you put halogen bulbs back in? Are you both running 55W in the fogs?

I was stupid and gave away my old bulbs. I'm going to just put a set of round LEDs in sometime I think. But first I'm going to try putting stock lights in, and if the problem is still there, I will pull the HID kit and take it into ford and get them to fix it under warranty.

Yea after blowing two fuses, I checked all my connections, retried it and it worked.

Did you find any lose? I'm almost thinking I might have a cut on a wire from all the ice spraying off the tires. Maybe causing it to short out.

So I pulled the connections apart and coated them in electric cleaner, put them back together, new fuse, and voila they work haha
