Got my LEDs in today except for my festoon. uploading pictures of how I put them in the puddle lamp housings.

Replaced old lightbulb



New bulb barely fit through the opening and the housing itself.

put a small bead of clear window sealant I got at O'Reilly's for $5 outside of lip.



Put my school books to good use to keep pressure on them while they dry overnight

Put two in my map lights. Not extremely bright like other peoples, but I'm satisfied after only paying $10 for 4 of them. If I need more light I'll order better ones. Total I got the four 12 SMD LED 194 bulbs and one 42mm 30 SMD LED festoon for $15

Ronnie09, next time make sure you buy led bulbs with 50/50 Smd leds! Much brighter, and better light output!

Cool ill remember that for next time. Does that apply to led bulbs for brake lights, reverse lights and such?

Very much soo! All of my replacement led bulbs Ive used in my truck have 50/50 Smd leds(very Bright), except for my Reverse lights those are 7w Cree leds!

An LED can be very dim like the one in a radio button indicator or bright like a single 25 watt headlight.. they are both led lights... even a 5050 can vary in brightness. They are called SMD 5050 because the dimensions of the chips are 5.0mm x 5.0mm. Find a good supplier and usually you get what you pay for...
