Under Dash LED

Under Dash LED
I am interested in putting LED lights under my dash, but I dont want the plug in play ones. I want to be able to hard wire it and install a switch. If anyone has any advice on what brand to get or even if it is possible. I have a 2013 F150

Don't plan on running them at night while you drive. I did that and they strained my eyes really bad.

I've used these modules from oznium before and they are really nice...

I used them for under dash and under seat lighting and they worked perfect for it.

I did this on my 12 xlt (Ambient Lighting/Aqua like dash lights) in the consoles cupholders and front and rear footwells.
I wired it to a switch, and wired in a dimmer for brightness controll. One of my favorite mods Ive added.
I purchased everything from SuperBrightLeds.com, for under 50.00!
Look under vehicle accent lighting for the leds, and power supplies for switches and dimmers. SBL, has many options to choose from for this. You can go with single color like I did, or RGB leds which will do 7 different colors I believe.
