Under Dash LED
#101
Picture is fuzzy but I was rolling when I took that picture.
Auto Zone smallest strip lights I could get I think about 4. Even though I like blue dash I like the red floor lights. Had them in the big truck for the last 30 years. Do have blue in the dodge, think i'm going to change back to red. Just softer, not as bold. Lot of guys like the blue in the offshore boats now, jury still out on that one.
Seen the cup holder lights Freddy did , those are to cool. Nice personal touch. I'm not going that far in the pickup but bought enough with the LEDs in them to do the whole pontoon boat and know how much work you had and have in that design. Put some time in that adventure.
Finished up the Double Dim rear view camera, and NAV last night took her for a spin. Dash cover is out for delivery, thats the last add my *** is finished with this F150. Have a honda 3000eu in the back might tinker with that with a box but the outside and inside are completed. Took about 3 months after buying it.
Got to put the bling to it or its no fun.
Pontoon. Freedy your not alone. LOL
You guys will get a kick out of this. Floor lights in the dragster.
Yep she's lit up. BluewaterLED sponsors me and their contribution is the lights,, of course.
Who says ya can't have fun when you get old.

Trucks, cars and dragsters ain't the only thing that looks better with floor lights.
Get off that couch and have fun with the toys.
Bass boat & race rig.
And for the record. OLD GUYS STILL RULE.

Sure,,, Just don't make it look busy. Like bikes with LEDs long as their not over done but its real easy to add to many and make the bike look busy.
Since we're having fun, Grill mounted on the back of the ATV, on the big events we stay at the track, have living quarters in the trailer.
If we lose, and our buddys lose, its nothing but a party from there on the rest of the night so we all grill out at someones trailer crank up the music and have fun. Installed a LED so it would not pull much off the battery, we BYOB and our own grill.. 10,000 things you can do with LED's and have fun. Know what, thats two beer holders beside the grill at the base of that over head stand on the ATV. . Now you do have me thinking about your cup holder build. .....
Something guys and it does look great and its not a costly addition is on the truck and trailer picture you'll see the LED under the side step or see the light anyway. ?
Get you a 4 or 5 foot strip light (LED) and mouth them on both steps where they come on when the door is open. Just make sure they are good quality cause under those steps their going to be putting up and some harsh environment.
NC will bust your butt for blue so played it safe and lined the underside of the trailer and under the side steps with amber. Its legal in all 50 with amber on the sides of anything and its a little softer than red or blue.
If you can do the install yourself your not talking with the best quality lights in the 40 dollar range.
Have side lights under the tow mirrors I installed several weeks ago but I think I will add a set of the step LEDs. IT really brightens up that whole side of the truck when you open the door.
Later.......

Got that dash cover in today. Man I love it when work is slow.
Had to get in the back seat to get this one and its a cell phone picture so no complaints on the little bit of blur. .
Also got the HUD. Cutting a hold for that took a little time in the new cover but inside is finished. Yep,,, i'm going back to red in the floor on the dodge to. Lot easier on the eyes.
