Hey all, wanted to see if this has ever been done or if it's possible. I'd want to cut out the stock hi/lo beam reflector thing and put in these.
Is that even possible? It'd be a cool way to improve lighting and looks while still keeping a semi-stock look (I'm not into these crazy overboard HID retrofits, just not my thing).
That would be sweet, but the cost vs. performance gain I do not believe will reach that of a projector retrofit.
I don't know what the diameter is, that's why I asked to see if anyone knew. And I'm pretty sure that actual LED heads are better than HID/projector combos. Why else would companies like Audi and BMW be moving away from HIDs to LEDs?
