Haha not a problem....and I thought about that but I don't want to have to deal with taping off the electrical and the halos on these Panamera shrouds. Figured I would keep it as simple as possible this time around. Thanks though for the input.

Since your grill is more of a matte chrome, why not paint your buckets the same?

I painted my bezels black and my buckets Sterling Grey Metallic and honestly it's very dark, I put a bunch of time and effort into the details and you really can't see them that easily. I also left my reflectors orange, but I like the contrast against the black.

You can see the detail up close, but from a distance you really lose it.

Hard to see with the reflection but my headlights just look like a black hole.

Those look good...I like that idea but for me to try and match that color would be awful. I will still keep the reflectors orange though.

I got oem hid headlights and while it's better than the halogens, I feel a little disappointed in the output. Got used to driving my G37 and the lighting is way better.

I read Evo-xr projectors is a direct replacement swap but what and where do I buy the correct wiring to be able to switch from the factory D3S bulbs to D2S? I still want to be able to use the oem ballast. I tried searching TRS but couldn't find the correct wiring. I did buy the harness from them to be able to switch to the OEM hid headlights.

We do a ton of these, if you guys are not comfortable opening the lights for the EvoX-R projector upgrade you can send us the OEM HID heads for the upgrade - EvoX-R projectors, 50w ballasts, 5500K D2S bulbs, H13 harness - all Morimoto products. Everything you need is included and installed for a plug and play install. Contact for details - http://www.raptorretrofit.com/contact-us/

Give TRS a call and see what they use to adapt between the two bulbs. It should be a pretty simple retro since you only need new projectors and bulbs.

I already opened them up to clean the inside lens, previous owner had some XB halo angel eyes installed which looks nice but one side works perfectly fine then the other side a quarter of the ring does not work and now it has gone completely dim. I will just take them out for good when I put in new projectors.

Yes, good idea, I will call the experts. Too bad I can't do FX-R, while EVO-XR are better than OEM Ford, my friend's Tacoma has FX-R retros and the output is great.

Im almost positive you need to get D2S ballasts, etc with the EVOXR swap. Ive never seen anyone use a different ballast.

If that's the case then I might as well go with FXR projectors

I put in the d2s 3.0 and the output is much better that halogen, I have a spare set of headlights and plan on getting to fxr to mount a little deeper and with hopefully less epoxy so the damn light bucket doesn't bounce and shake while on dirt roads at night, plus I hear the fxr has a even better low beam
