Did anyone order a cheap set of h1 for high beams? I got the h1:super and the darn thing didn't have any hardware with it. No locking nut, washer or even the bulb clip. Called TRS and they said they don't inspect them. So some come with and some don't. I don't think it's fair. So now I have to spend 40 bucks on the hardware. And wait another week.
Ughhhhhhh

Man I feel like a slacker. Reflectors are trimmed just need to paint. I guess in my defense I am painting my grill at the same time, but really no excuse....

Wired up the halos today. However they're on with my headlights too which I don't like. I wired them into the running lights and turn signal. For some reason I didn't think those lights were on with when the headlights were on. Anyone know how to go about fixing this? I'll have to disconnect them otherwise for the time being so I don't burn the led's out.

Looks like something like
This This
will do what you want. I just did a quick search, might be some better products out there.

I don't think that will disable the HID's during the day which is my main goal. Maybe service at my dealership can help me with this one.

I didn't realize you have your HIDs as your DRLs too. I would think if you can get your dealership to disable the DRL feature of your HIDs you could then use the relay I linked to end up with end result you want.

I think the way you want it is. Halos only during the day and when you turn on your headlights they turn off?

yes exactly! I also have a switchback white/Amber LED bulb in the turn signal bulb. So I just want those running together as my DRL's, then switch off when HID's are on (at night)

I agree with Fritzz. You'll need your DRLs turned off at the dealer to eliminate the HIDs running as DRLs. Then use a switchback controller/driver for the halos to operate like you're talking about (white halos as DRLs and amber for turns?). TRS has a driver for that type of operation as well:

I *think* that's what you're trying to accomplish.
