Spyder Auto Head Lamps with HIDs

The housing has nothing to do with it. I ran HIDs in a Spyder enclosure before I went to a Retrofit.
I don't know where you're from but if you're somewhere that mandates DRL's (I am), you will have to go to Ford and have the DRL function disabled. Basically, during the day the truck isn't supplying the correct voltage to the HIDs. Sometimes they fire, sometimes they don't. You can try and relay it, but the modulated voltage will just chatter the relay and you're no more ahead than you were.
Disable your DRL, you'll be fine. If you can, use a good quality high amp waterproof relay, as well.

Good advice, thats what I was thinking.
For replacements, I always suggest HIDMASTERS.com
