Default some questions about projectors

Hey guys, I'm looking to put projectors in my '10 STX but I can't decide which route to go. I'm going for a blacked out look. I've heard good things about recon, but I'm also curious about retrofits. Anyone know who does the best quality work and rough price estimate?

Theres a Few Members on here who do Retrofits with great results! Bilinvic, TuxedoBlack, & Yuke... If you don't do Retrofits go with the 2013 style oem hids!

Stay far away from the Recon and other aftermarket housings! Your just asking for trouble down the road with those!

Each Retrofit guy on here have they're own thread on the Retrofits they each do, just look in this topic area!

I chose to get the 2013 OEM HIDs, as I didn't want to Wait for mine! Good luck with your choice...

Is there no good aftermarket out there that does it?

Only reason I ask is I deal with several aftermarket wholesalers for work and can get them at a MUCH better price than I could for OEM, leaving more money for other stuff

None of the aftermarket is anywhere near the quality/performance of a proper retrofit.

You really do not want to go "cheap" when it comes to the headlights. I was very disappointed with what Ford let's pass for headlights. For reliability and vast improvement, go with projectors from Bil. See his extensive thread here.
