Default 20" LED Curved Light Bar in Bumper

I figured I would take a minute to show off how a 20" curved light bar from eBay fits in the front bumper. I know eBay light bars have mixed reviews but overall I am happy. Finish is nice with a crinkle finish powdercoat. Light is a combo flood light spot light.

Here is the light out of the box

First step was looking both bumper covers off to open up the bumper so I could mock up the light

The light mounts use 1 bolt in each end cap and allow the light to rotate. Each mount has 1 hole which required only 1 hole to be drilled on each side of the bumper mounting brackets

The light is about 1" wider than the gap between the plastic bumper covers so I had to cut each side to clear the light. Once cut they snapped right back in place

The light came with a switch, fuse, relay and harness which was easy to route. I know some people would wire it into the factory lights but I didn't want the be required to have the factory lights on so the included harness works for me

As you can probably tell the light bar is way too bright to be used as supplemental driving light. Additionally WI requires a front plate so I will be looking for an Ecoboost front plate mount to modify and use

Literally about to do this myself! Thankfully you had the pleasure of doing this before my attempt. I see you used the harness which was included with the light. I'm almost 100% I ordered the same one. Did you end up mounting somthing in the interior or the truck or on the dash or just tie into say the fog lights? Would be interested to hear what you did.

I ran the wire into cab and mounted the included switch on the kick panel on the right side of the steering wheel.

I'd like to wire in a second relay such that when the brights are on I can turn on the LED bar and then have it turn off when I flip the brights off.

I have had several questions about where my light mounts so I have added a photo of where the light mounting holes are under the hood on the rear side of the bumper brackets. There is 1 1/4" bolt per side
