Rigid light gone bad?

I'd rather be sailing.

I'm no expert but it looks like it was submerged in salt water for some time and leaked.

Maybe it was a backup light and got submerged when a boat was launched??

I sent rigid a email with pics asking for their advise. We shall see lol

Rigid emailed me back. It's going to cost me $60 to get the light back working.

Now that I look up both my new lights versus the damaged one I'm not sure which one may be a fake or real...
I just purchased some dually D2's which is the same as this light but the housing is a little different. Look how the wire goes into the housing. On the light that is damaged there is a little circular cap looking device next to the wire going into the main housing. There's no way that their product has changed that much is there?
Is there anyway to tell if it is a true rigid LED light?
