I've made the decision to get 2 30" SR Rigid bars and mount them behind my grill. Thanks for all of the input and advice! Pictures will be on their way soon.

I know this is an old thread, but has anyone with an EB who has put the 20" light in the bumper opening had any issues? I only ask because I've searched countless posts on multiple sights and found nothing adverse for those who have EB 150's that have done this.

I was thinking about adding a 20 light bar as well. I not sure what affects it will have. It will block the flow approx 50% adding the light I want. Not crazy about that. Also will that light change air flow dynamics? Seen a few mounted on the bumper but not crazy about it either.

That's a great question about air flow dynamics.

I'm going to install it and try it through the Summer. If I notice anything adverse, I'll simply remove it.

Just noticed you have a 2016. Doesn't the license plate go in the center in front of your intercooler? Ford claims they "improved" the cooling on your body style and were able to move that front plate to the center.

Where I live we don't need front plates. And my truck doesn't even have a spot or bracket for it

This would be no different than having a license plate on the front which would block up to 90% of the available space.

Agree that the license plate would, but not the light bar. I think the light bar will be fine. I think it would be a different story if the light bar butted against the intercooler, which would effectively block half the cooling fins.

I'm hoping to bench test it in the Summer and monitor the IAT with it on and off.

Been running a dual Row 20" light bar in my intercooler opening for 60,000+miles and have had ZERO issues

I think 'Baja Designs' is a much nicer, better built product and fits the EcoScrew hole prefectly. Mine is a 5.0 but I took my time and cut out the original plastic bumper.
