Angry 2013 F150 Factory Projectors

Hey guys I'm wondering is it possible to put HID lights in my factory housing and do away with the projectors? If so what kind of bulb would I need for them to fit? Also would it be a plug and play or would I have to wire it all up different. I ended up buying 8000K D3S bulbs and replaced the factory colored ones and now when I look at them at night it looks like the left side is more blue than the left and the left is like a bright white! Yes I did buy them on eBay so there not the $200 Osram or Philips brand bulb so that might be my problem. I just ordered some DDM Tuning 8000K hid to put in my fogs and seen on their site they also sell the D3S bulbs. Wish I would've looked harder and made one purchase instead of going on eBay trying to cheap out! Do you guys think the 8000k d3s bulbs will match their 8000k fogs both are 35w. But then when I took a picture in front of my truck they look exactly the same color! Thanks guys!

Most here are probably not going to agree with what you are trying to do. We are all pretty dead set against HID's in non-projector housings.

Factory housings are not engineered for hid, which is the reason they are so glaring on oncoming traffic with HID's installed. You will be flashed forever.

If your wanting the HID's, go with the projectors.

I don't understand what you are trying to accomplish. You don't want to use the HID projectors that you already have? You could remove the housing and install halogen housings but that won't solve your issue, only make it worse and cost much more money.

If you want consistent bulb performance, get OEM or reputable aftermarket bulbs.

you should have saved your money and left the stock HID bulbs in there. you've decreased the output of your headlights.
