Default Which Rigid Industries backup lights - Dually or SR-M

I want to put some backup lights on the back of my truck so that I can use my backup camera at night, as well as for hooking up the boat trailer and launching the boat. Which are the better choice, Rigid Dually diffused or SR-M diffused? A pair of Duallies aren't going to provide "too much" light and wash-out the backup camera picture, are they?

Thanks guys!

I have the SR-M diffused and the light is sufficiently adequate. Much better than without that's for sure. Mine are mounted on the shackle, so all of my light is down low, but I did this to illuminate down and out rather than behind me (which they still do to an extent).

Truck Yeah - I hadn't considered the SR-Q lights. I'm guessing they probably throw the same amount of lights as the Duallies, so I'd love to see some pictures. I like that they're lower profile. Only problem is that I can't find them anywhere nearly as cheap as the Duallies.

MCDavis - Thanks for the pics of the SR-M lights! They look good.

I got a pair of Baja Design S2 with the "wide cornering" lens. Puts the light on the ground and has a lot of "width" to it.

here's before and after pictures..they were taken same spot (cell phone pic)one with stocks. .Other with the rigids..I had the emergency brake on so the brake lights did not interfere. They have an sr-q2 out now that puts out 2x the light..no wash out
Before - stock reverse lights

With the sr-q

I mounted them to the hitch frame with a couple "L" brackets- they are fully adjustable any direction... I set mine narrow and further back...no holes to drill

Thanks for the pics guys! I think I'm going to go ahead with the Dually lights, since I can get them for less than the SR-Q's.

Truck Yeah, aren't you worried about wearing through the insulation on those wires where they run through that hole (first pic of second post)?
