Thanks TAP, and I'm sure I speak for all of us that we appreciate your support to the Forum. It just turned out that I was ordering a bunch of stuff from Amazon already, and just added the Duallys to my order.

They are not connected to reverse lights at all so that way I can turn them on only when needed or if I'm trying to setup a campsite or bonfire party
For clarification, when you ran the wires back out of the cab, where did you route them? Down from the engine bay, and then to the main wire harness (the one along the frame)? Just trying to get ahead of this and plan the install. I want a switch in-cab so I need to figure out how best to route the wires. TIA.

I ran them in from engine in the firewall and into the switch and then right back out the same way to that wire harness on the frame I erased the little storage spot infront of the shifter to make a panel for switches that I can put the switches there when I want

Thanks. I'd love to tack weld 'em but I don't have any welding equipment. Is there another option for security? I've seen the "spanner" set that Rigid sells but they seem to only be for the light bars, not Dually/D2s.

There's several threads in the "how-to" section that show different routes for the wires. Most of them have photos for reference.

Similar to the Rigid kit, you could throw a locking nut on the bottom.

These are all but impossible to get off without the correct tool (Like lug nut locks)

Can anyone put up a picture of what wire(s) they tapped into for the lights to come on with reverse? Going to install some pods I had laying around tomorrow and I just want them to come on with the reverse lights!

Also, does anyone think the two pods will cause any issues if they were just wired into the reverse wire for the trailer harness? No relays or fuses or anything? They are Digidiode but pretty well same specs as Rigid light/power wise.
