Default Ridiculous wire length question

I am wiring in some 100w halogen aux lights. Should I use the same length wire for both left and right to achieve a similar brightness?

Question may seem stupid but I have noticed a slight difference in intensity on my rig at work based on the difference in left and right.

If your wiring is properly sized, you should not be able to notice any difference in intensity with only a couple feet of wiring different. Swap the lights side to side, one of the bulbs just might not be as bright. If you are still noticing that the light with the longer wiring harness is a bit dimmer, then you need to look at your wiring. It could be a poor connection, or the wires could be too small.
