Default Retrofit question - replacing H1 projectors with D2S HID

Hey, question for all you HID know-it-alls. I've been looking at upgrading my lights on my 2013 XLT for a couple months, and was interested in doing a retrofit to HID. I can't exactly take the headlights off my truck and work on them for hours at a time, so I was going to get some aftermarket housings (because I like the look of the stepped lights) and get rid of the awful H1 projector and swap it out with a lo/hi D2S HID system and independent light (H1/second D2S) in the second mount for when off roading / people being stupid in traffic. Am I crazy? Probably.

Idk about D2S projectors but you can easily retrofit the morimoto mini H1 in there. TRS has a "quik" fx for this here: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/com...l#.U8i5QbGBp6N
