The lights on the house are a tad more yellow than standard halogens. They are flood lights that light up the driveway really nicely, yet my projectors completely overwhelm them from 40 yards away

Please make sure you sum them properly and readjust if you get flashed at night.

Alright guys I have a slight problem. Retrofit is complete and I drove around tonight (I was super freaking excited) but I think the cutoff is too high. I mean if I was on a hill then forget about letting anyone else see. Probably vaporized their eyeballs! The projectors are wicked bright and totally worth the time to retrofit by the way.
Anyway, I'm gonna try to see if i can lower it any with the adjuster ***** but if not then I might be screwed. Im pretty sure I accidentally installed it with the reflector on the lowest setting.... I'll update yall tomorrow. I'll try to get the detailed write-up done this weekend or Monday. I just finished everything tonight and I'll be gone I'll weekend but I'll see what I can do

There are three screws that attach the headlight assembly to the truck, two on top and one in the front. (I assuming you have already tried using the adjustment screw on the headlight assembly and that was not enough of a movement) You can shim the top two screws with a couple of thin washers to give you a slight dip in the assembly. It only takes a little movement to get a large difference in the aim of the headlight.

I have the solution for you on adjusting the light down.

[QUOTE=Blackbuster11;3857211]That sounds like it would work but I already sealed the headlights. Thought whenever we lined the headlights that it was the proper alignment.[/QUOTE
Sealing the headlights should have nothing to do with aiming them up and down. The entire bucket inside the headlight assembly moves no matter if they are sealed. Have you tried the adjustment screws on the top of the headlights?

What happened was I mounted the projectors with the reflectors pointed all the way down by accident, so there's no real way to adjust them down. I figured out why they were so high tho. When screwing in the housing, I tightened the top 2 screws too much and the bottom 1 not enough. That created some angle in the lights. Besides the puny little ricer cars that drag the driver's butt on concrete, the lights are now the perfect height. Hit the trunks on the back of cars and doesn't go higher than the side mirror on oncoming cars.
Edit: I just realized you told me that idea in the first post.. my bad lol I will try the washers if I need to
