same sort of malfunction happened to my third brake light, the top row of LED brake lights stopped working after a few months.....i emailed recon, recieved a quick response saying its warranty had expired but he said he would warranty them for me anyways (which i found somewhat a relief) all i had to do was pay 25$ for shipping and handling......thats when i started thinking.....on their website they boast about their "superior lighting" meeting and exceeding OEM specifications.....and that i had already dumped $1300 into full exterior lighting thinking it would last.....needless to say, im keeping it in until it fully fails, i have already took out my headlights and put the stockers back in, and am awaiting the fate of my taillights and tailgate lightbar that are still fully functioning (knock on wood). I guess its like everything you buy thats mass produced these days, all that product being built as cheaply and quickly as possible, theirs more chance (more so than winning the lottery it seems) that your going to get a defective product
