Yeah I've heard that there are more reliable LED tailgate bars and for less money to boot but RECON is the only one that uses the scanning turn signals so I took my chances with it.

Yep, it was the scanning amber turn signals that got me to buy it. Maybe in time other companies will start making them. Until them though.....
