reccommend hid/ high output headlights??

I bought some from DDMTunning before and they were alright, I had a ballast go bad on me after a few months and got tired of having really bright lights in the reflector style headlights in my Mustang so I got the ballast replaced and sold them. A pair of normal, high quality headlight bulbs will be fine for any application

I just bought a set on Ebay for 59.99 shipped that included slim ballasts. Love HID's, have always had them in all of the cars I own. They provide much more clear, bright white light then any regular headlight bulb could provide. while it may be annoying to others that you pass on the road, it makes a much safer environment for you to drive at night allowing you to see more, more clearly, and further in front of you. Cheap, plug and play, and last a lot longer then regular bulbs. Go get you some..

If everyone had these then it would be a huge pain to drive home. When I'm in my mustang I have never passed a truck with HIDs that doesn't blind me. Being up high we don't get it as bad, but it can really mess with drivers in cars. I still see no need for anything above a nice pair of regular bulbs (Sylvania NightHawks work well) that are adjusted properly. Sometimes people can adjust them down far enough not to blind others (I did in my Mustang when I had them in there) but then the output was actually worse because I had to aim the things so far down because of the light pattern.

You dont see any contradiction here?

Also, I would not recommend Silverstars or Nighthawks since they don't last very long. I have never heard of anyone owning them and having them last longer than 16 months on a daily driven vehicle. Hella and Piaa make very good bulbs as well but are so pricey it may not even be worth it. I myself am looking for a decent upgraded halogen bulb but I can't find any. I just wish we had a more conventional bulb socket like 9005 rather than a rare 9008. I would throw a Cree LED in there and be done with it.
