So I got my 5K DDM Tuning HIDs put in tonight. I really like them. Happier than I thought I would be with them. Attached is a before, hi/lo change, and all changed out. Pretty good color.. a little less blue than the 6Ks.

The instructions sucked and I wish I would have ordered from these people now:

A great video for installing HIDs. The DDM instructions were not even the same harness.

BTW. Take the shroud off and hide your harness wires underneath it with zip ties... you will need plenty of zip ties. DDM sends them with the kits but they are so old they rot through and don't work.

Hope this helps anyone looking.

I have 6000k and my dad has 5000k. Mine have just a little more blue, and his might reach out another 10feet. But nothing that I've noticed in driving them.

6000k Heads and stock fogs from Jon_To.

6000k fog on the Right. Stock bulb on the Left

Same, but with 6000k heads on.
They match much better in person.

They're super easy to put in, and you're going to love them! Post pics when you're done.

Once you drive with HID's you will never go back to regular bulbs again. The first thing I put on my truck when I bought it was 8000K HID's in the headlights and fog lights. I thought I had some pic's, but I cant seem to find them......

Just ordered a 5000K set from xenondepot.com! Back when I had my Toyota 4runner.. xenondepot.com was the talk of the crowd. I told myself I would always buy from them if I ever got HIDs. Little expensive per pair, but the people there will do everything they can to help you out. I haven't seen them talked about much on here so I thought I might throw it out there to anyone looking for HIDs.
