I have an 2005 xlt that had factory fog lights in. I had to remove them because i put an aftermarket bumper on well i found some piaa lights at my parents house that will fit in the new slot in the bumper so my question is can i just splice the wires into the factory fog light wire harness. The bulb say h3 12v 55w

better yet you can go buy the female ends at an auto parts store like autozone instead of cutting your factory harness. But yes if you wanna just cut and splice it will work

so just to be clear i can plug the 55w lights into the factory fog light wire and dont need a relay or anything

factory harness has fuses, not sure if the fogs have their own relay.

I'll just plug em in and try I did look in my manual they said r202 is the relay for it
