Awesome thanks! I'm glad I saw this because I think I'd rather have a spot beam than the driving. Crazy that those do outshine the HIDs! It could just be how you aimed them but I definitely need light higher up and not in front of me. My retrofit and led fogs are already insane so the higher the light the better. Curious to see pics of the spot beams now.

I really do appreciate you showing me the night pics!

Edit: that's actually a good amount of light (I zoomed in lol). I bet I could aim them a tiny bit higher than what you have and get the light output I need. How far away is that building?

For comparison, these are my headlights. My high beams will cover the two vehicles at the end of the driveway (75 feet away) but I want the rest of it to be lit up as well. Whether that's driving pattern or spot

I'd think it depends on what your goals are on which lights you get.
I think the spots aimed out to the sides of the roads would benefit both yours and my light patterns. From what I've seen, the spot is best placed fairly high up though or it looses its effectiveness.
One thing I like about the driving pattern is it spreads a lot of light everywhere so I pick up some periphery, and it heightens my output in front of the vehicle as well. I guess it is fair to say it is like a boost to the headlights.
And yes, I'm still playing around with angulation of mine, I may get better results if I aim them higher.
I'd say that building is 80 yards away or so.

Ya that's why I originally looked at the D2 driving because it seemed like a ton of light thrown wide and a good bit down range. Which was/is what I'm wanting. I just want to make sure I'm getting bright enough light where it needs to be. It's useless if it can't even outshine or match my headlights now. I'm curious to see how much light the spots provide and how much peripheral light they let out

Since yours are so bright you may want to consider hyperspots as well. Pricey, but may be about the only thing that will get past your projectors

Curious to see what night shots pugga has. Not sure how bright the normally dually spots are, but if they can match or outshine my projectors then 4 of those would be a good setup

My buddy has two normal Dually spots on his Raptor. They are pretty good but I'm not sure they'll out shoot your projectors. I'll see if I can get you a picture if nobody else comes up with one. I suppose google/youtube would have some as well though

I just need to commit already lol ya if you have any pics that would be great. I'm afraid the D2 hyper spot will be too much of a focused beam and not spread out enough. I've heard the Baja designs squadrons are a really good wide beam that throws light pretty far. I wish you could test the lights before using them

VisionX light cannons. Nothing beats them for the money.
