Default New to projectors and HIDs

I recently bought a pair of aftermarket projector headlights and was pretty excited about getting them so I could throw some HIDs in them. Haven't really messed with lighting too much before so I have yet to put my HIDs in. The lights I bought came with 35w 6000k HIDs. I would like to not lose my high beams in the process of installing these. Any help would be appreciated!

TL;DR - Bought aftermarket headlights that came with HID kit. Didn't install and would like help without losing high beams.

Guessing your hid kit is just a single beam, or just lows. Since you have 2 bulbs now, you'll need 2 hid kits if u want hid highs and lows. But if u just instal the hid lows then you can keep the halogen highs

I just got the same headlights he has today and i was wondering the same thing because ours are sealed units and Idk how that would work, all it has is the connection for the hi/low hanging out of it and a cover to get to the insides of the headlight

I'm just not sure how to go about hooking them up since they aren't conventional bulbs or hookups.

Yeah Ik I was thinking that I might have to drill a hole for the wires and then silicone the hole where the wires are comming out. But I'm not to sure about that cuz my hids arent gunna be here till Monday so that will be an adventure trying to fuiger that out

Where did you buy the actual headlight housing? I like the amber lights along the bottom! Looks good, good luck with Getting your HIDs hooked up!
