What does everything think of the LED Taillight bars. I'm looking at the recon with the amber turn signals and wondering if its over played or if people still like the look?

Nah I really like the look of them and the added safety of another bright brake light/running light. I have the Recon White lightning one. The one with scanning turn signals you will have to have a hot 12v source wire to tap into. I had one before this one and ran a wire from the battery all the way to the back to get it to work. It just gave me problems so I went back to the one I got now and it still works perfectly. They are really hit or miss though it seems. I had 3 on my older F150 because the first one had lights go out in random places. The second one I got was okay for a couple months and then I had to get another one again. This one on my truck now has lasted 8 months with no problems.



All the lights work, snow was covering them and my cell phone didnt take the best picture. All the way right is where the tailgate peg is so it makes it look like there is always one light out until you look at it from the side.

Id say go for it, I dont see many trucks with them around here in our neck of the woods (Mass). Plus if you like it who cares.
