Default Need Help with Install of used FX4 Lights I bought...

So I purchased some used 2012 FX4 Headlamps for my 2013 XLT. I was planning to install myself but now I am unsure. I was at the Ford dealer for a service and I had just picked up the lights and asked them what the price to install them would be. They said should be $50 bucks which I thought was cheap enough. But after they looked at them they said they were HID's and would require wiring etc. and it would now be $307 to install. I am wondering what my options are, below are some photos i took. This is my first thread, and I searched the forum but didn't seem to find anything that could help. I talked to the guy I bought the lights off of and he said that when he bought the truck it had been converted to HID from halogen. To me it looks like someone butchered the wiring when they pulled them out, and they are missing the DRL and Turn signal bulbs...

So I have a few questions:

1. What do I need to wire these up and retain HID function?
2. Am I able to convert it back to Halogen using my stock lamps for parts? (I am more about the look of the black headlamp than the HID Function)
3.Which is easier? I am a rookie when it comes to modifying head lamps/wiring. But otherwise not afraid to DIY.

thanks in advance!

First off welcome to the forum. Secondly, is your current headlight setup halogen or do you have OEM projectors? If you currently have just the OEM halogen lamps, get rid of those HIDs in the FX4 housings and go back to a good halogen. HID should never be used in a stck halogen lamp for two reasons. First off is that you lose all the light they produce to scatter. Second is that they are terrible for oncoming drivers.

Thanks for the welcome and the reply. They are normally stock Halogen FX4 headlamps I believe. So do I just remove the bulb and mess of wiring and replace it with my Factory Halogens out of my 2013? Should be fairly simple then? Just swap everything over from my truck? If that's the case I am guessing it will make a lot more sense once I pull off the old head lamp and see how its wired/put together. I could care less about HID, just really want to ditch the chrome, like many others have.

Now I just need to wait for a warm day where I don't need to go anywhere for a bit.

Well I installed them. I think they look great. Just need to PTM my grille. It is such a huge amount of Chrome.
