Default My Retrofit Project 2013 F150

Ok guys I plan to start a major retrofit project with ZERO experience on the subject so I hope to let others learn from my mistakes with this thread. I have as of 5 minutes ago ordered the following...

-2013 F150 HID Black Housings
-MOTOCONTROL BIXENON: H13/9008 RELAY
-Bi-xenon: Hella EvoX-R Projectors
-D2S: Osram Xenarc 66240 CBI Bulbs
-D2S: Morimoto 3Five DSP Ballast
-2 x 6" White and 2 x 3" Amber LED Strips (to go inside housing horizontal above and below F150 logo)
-LED Amber Angel Eyes 100mm

Currently I have the stock STX halogens on her with one just having been busted up in a accident 2 days ago excellerating this project of mine. I have also ordered a new front and rear bumper and new Engo 4" LED floodlights to go in both the front and rear bumpers.

No winch yet this will be a complete lighting (with new bumpers) retrofit of my truck. I am very open to anyone giving me tips or suggestions on parts or materials I will need as well.

Hope that people can follow this thread and learn/help as needed!

-James

I just did the same thing.

Started with lights from TRS

I baked them in the oven and separated the lens from the housing. Plan was to remove the projector and swap it with a tuned EVOX-R D2S running a 50w Phillips CBI bulb set.

Also planned to add a set of xBLed 100mm halos and 75mm strips.

Here's the new projector ready to go in, not much to look at but this ****er is bright.
