Default OEM HID's won't come on

I recently picked up some oem hids. They worked perfectly on the sellers truck, but for some reason I can't get them to fire up on mine. I checked the grounds multiple times, so I don't think that is my problem. The parking lamps and side markers work just fine in them. I did notice that my adapter on the harness and the one to the headlight doesn't click together, it doesn't feel like it goes on all the way it should, could that be the problem? The fuse also is not blown on the harness.

Any ideas, or suggestions would be appreciated. They look killer, and would love to get them to work.

Wink

Sounds like it. I did the HID update in my '11 Lariat. The adapter I bought at the time did the same thing. No matter how hard I tried I couldn't get the plugs to snap together. I ended up getting a replacement. I got mine from www.projectoretrofits.com. He's a member on the boards and is a stand up guy. Check him out.

Yeah, you may require a new Harness to fix your issue!

Harness. Get a new one but go straight to TRS and don't fool with Tux...he's got a reputation of being hard to contact.
