Sorry, those are just some cheap LED fog lights I picked up at Autozone. They add some light, but not much distance. They helped when backing up at night to light up stuff close to the bumper. The plate frame really adds a lot of light.

I also purchased LED bulbs to replace the back up OEM bulbs. Do the LED bulbs that you installed have LED's that face in multiple directions or are they exclusively rear facing? Multiple facings helps to direct more light over a wider area because of the focused light coming from LED's. This of course is not a problem if you have some type of projector over the bulb which we do not with the tail lights.
Again thanks for the reference to the frame LED.

Too Loud? Too Bad!
Just received my LED frame today. Looking forward to installing it today as well.

Installed the LED liscense plate yesterday. Wow would be a good way to describe the difference. I had already installed multidirectional LED lights in place of the incandescent bulbs. This was an improvement, but I wanted more.
With the new VLED frame installed, I can not only see the grass behind me, I can see the individual blades! It is very bright. Not sure what wattage the individual LED's are in the plate (there are six of them), but I cannot see needing more than this amount of light in any normal reverse situation.
One rather amusing thing happened when I installed them (it took 30 minutes and could have been done in half that). I connected the wires into the reverse wiring in one of the tail lights. It was easy to do so long as you remembered that the solid black wires on the new plate and the tail light are ground.
The funny part was that I forgot to screw the tail light back in after I was done with the install. I was so interested in the output that I just pushed the tail light assembly back into place without the screws. I left them in the bed and closed it up. A while later my wife was driving the truck and a man flagged her down. It seems the unscrewed tail light had come loose and was about to come completely out of its mount! Thank goodness my son that was with her was able to screw in by had one of the screws until she got home.
Moral of this story, don't get too excited about the install until you check all your screws.

Here y'all go.
Not brilliant during the day but they're good at night. Not quite bright enough to be very useful for reversing though. Tint eliminates the good it does.
