I was thinking of doing a retrofit on my 04 f150. Using the morimoto mini h1. I was just thinking this kit because it looks easy to do with the mounting brackets and all rather than the full on retrofit. I also have a set of hid bulbs/ballast in the stock housing right now would I be able to use them in the morimoto kit. Also and tips or recommendations y'all have to help me.

The morimoto mini h1 uses an h1 bulb and your headlights now use a h13. You can use the ballast and harness but need different bulbs

Or I was thinking the ds2 bulb type they sell a hid adapter like the 2 plugs from the hid bulb to the ballast so it will work with the ds2
