Default Load resistors or EP-27 flasher??

I am looking at installing some 3157 Swichbacks in my headlights and was wondering what everyones preference is on getting them to operate correctly. I have heard that if you want to use the load resistors, you need to wire them to the blinker wire and not the running light (parking light) wire, and the ground wire is this true? Or should I go the easy route and use the EP-27 electronic flasher? Thanks

Tridon EP-27. Why hack up the wiring if it isn't necessary?

Plus - if you use the V3 Tritons, the load elements are already built-in and selectable.

I researched this a couple months back. V3 Tritons are definitely the way to go but are a lot pricer as well. You get what you pay for I suppose. I still haven't pulled the trigger on what option I want to go with.

V3's here. Very clean setup. I used the standard 3157 switchbacks with tap splices on my last truck. Wasn't a fan of taping into the factory harness.

The flasher is much easier. I have switchbacks and its what I used.
