I really like how your lights blend in that's what I'm going for, how dark of tint is that?

And as far as someone wrote killing 30% of the light is way ridiculous I think.....
Maybe if I said tinting it with 5% but 35% tint is not very dark at all... I wouldn't think it would have much affect at all but I could be wrong.

I honestly don't remember. I bought it off eBay for under $10. There were many colors to choice from. They had two different shades of "smoked" and I bought the lighter of the two.

Ebay "Tinted Vinyl"

Uhh, thats exactly what the percentages mean....

35% tint means 35% light transmission. Meaning you are blocking 65% of the light coming through the tint.

It blocks it coming into the windows not looking out. IIRC

Also, no.

Its not a one way mirror. When you tint a window, your outward visibility goes down as well as inward.

If you measured your untinted lights with a lux meter and then measure again after tinting, I guarantee you would have seen a decease.

Agreed ^^ tinting blocks light both ways.

I realize the way you are looking at it but you are wrong. Don't take that the wrong way but look at it like this 50% tint is almost completely clear and most definitely doesn't block 50% of the light nor even close to 50% of the light.... Even 27% tint doesn't block 50% percent of the light..... And even if you were right they make different quality tint... My buddy owns a tinting business and the tint that they tint houses with is made to look dark from the outside but from inside you can't notice it is tinted hardly at all.

I wish I had a light bar to test and report back but I do have a led Stream Light Strion HL and I will go buy some 30% tent and try it out to compare. Will try to take pictures to report.
