Default Light Canon 25w LED Foglights!

Hey guys,

Next mod is ready to go in within the next few days. I'm swapping my factory foglights with Vision X LED Light Cannons. They're 4" lights with a single 25w LED each, and they're rated for 1000' of usable light, before the lux output drops to what halogen headlight drops to at 88'..

Needless to say, these things are BRIGHT. Here's some teaser photos, and I will update when I get them in!

Retail cost on these is just under $500CAD for two and a wiring harness.

Those are sweet! Vision X has a great reputation for their products. Usually very pricey and at least as good as, if not better than, rigid.

Keep us posted on the install!

Because they are fogs, will these be too bright even when they are aimed down? I have my Bil fog lights aimed as far down as the screw will let me and they are still a little bright. Not sure what wattage they are compared to these.

They're mega pencil beams. Up close, they're a tiny dot of brighter-than-the-sun light. At 500', they're still super bright spotlights. Haven't really paced them out farther that that yet.

Thought they were foglights. My led foglights spread out very quickly with no focused beam at all at any distance. Sounds like what you are describing is a driving light which would certainly be more focused forward.

They're going in my factory foglight locations, is what I'm getting at with that.

Did a little tinkering around tonight. Took the back part of teh foglight housing out to accommodate the Cannon. Fits super nice and looks great so far. Going to Canadian Tire tomorrow to grab some hardware so I can retain the vertical adjustment.

I think they make a euro beam snap on cover that converts these to more fogish pattern.
